The Dropwing
is the long-awaited folding evolution of the legendary Darter, engineered
through years of collaboration between Travis Haley and Connor Toor, and
brought to life with the precision of Toor Manufacturing. This knife merges the
aggressive performance of a purpose-built combat blade with the compact
convenience of a modern EDC folder. Designed for operators, first responders,
and everyday carriers, the Dropwing delivers uncompromised reliability, premium
materials, and field-proven ergonomics for any mission or environment.
At its core
is a 3.5” CPM Magnacut blade hardened to 61-63 HRC, offering exceptional edge
retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness. The Darter-inspired profile
provides controlled slicing, piercing strength, and versatility for both
utility and defensive tasks. Smooth deployment comes from a phosphorus bronze
washer system, chosen for durability in harsh, debris-filled conditions.
The
Dropwing’s Crossbar Lock ensures secure lockup with ambidextrous operation,
while the G10 handle delivers a confident grip in all environments. Titanium
hardware and a backspacer keep the knife lightweight yet structurally
rock-solid, and the titanium clip provides secure, reliable carry.
