Optimized for tactical applications, the all-black Manix 2 Salt cloaks its blade in a stealthy Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating. Its scales are both peel-ply textured and machined with Spyderco’s signature Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern for an ultra-secure grip. Like its DLC-coated blade, this knife’s liners, pocket clip, and all other hardware are also made from ultra-corrosion-resistant materials and have non-reflective black coatings.
For greater visibility in aquatic environments, the Manix 2 Salt is also available with a satin-finished blade and two-toned G-10 scales featuring alternating black and yellow layers. The scales are painstakingly machined with a Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture pattern to create a high-traction texture that reveals the bright yellow layers for enhanced visibility.
